As both a Photographer and a Pole Dance Instructor, in 2009 AJ decided to fuse the 2 together to create some stunning images for friends and performers. With this style of photography you really need to know the mechanics of pole dancing to be able to find the right angles. It’s not a case of point and snap, you really need to know the moves, the performance and also anticipate what is coming next!
Within a studio environment get to know your pole performer and what they want to get out of the session. Know that they can’t hold some moves for minutes on end whilst you try get the perfect angle !
